Karen Dora has been involved in Workers’ Compensation claims adjudication for more than 25 years.  She has held a variety of positions with insurance carriers including claims adjuster, claims supervisor, claims manager and litigation specialist.  She has been responsible for a myriad of “post injury” procedures and programs aimed directly at the reduction of a workers’ compensation claim’s ultimate cost.

Claims Strategy Open Indemnity Claims

Proactively manage the adjudication of open indemnity claims

  • Prepare letters to authorize MacKenzie and Associates to work with former carriers and/or TPA’s
  • Request and review current status of all open indemnity claims.
  • Conduct claims review with our client to review older claims, identify problematic issues and determine best case outcomes
  • Develop plan of action for each claim to ensure desired outcome is achieved
  • Track progress of each claim to resolution 
  • Provide adjuster appropriate professional claims handling direction
  • Diary to ensure suggestions or actions are followed by specific deadlines

Randy Webberley has over 25 years of experience in construction, insurance, manufacturing and engineering safety and health.  His experience allows him to give MacKenzie and Associate clients his insight and professional advice needed to meet the demands of today’s ever changing regulatory and safety concerns.
